The basics

The very basics of asking Sandy to remember or remind you about something by email.

Sandy understands a simple shorthand that feels natural to read and write.

To have her remember something for you, start a sentence with "remember" or "remind" like this:

Remember that I lent our Pride and Prejudice DVD to Mike

Mention a date or time and Sandy will put it on the calendar and email you a reminder (and/or send a text message to your cellphone) when the time comes. Sandy understands a number of date and time notations, for example:

Remind me about yoga class on Friday at 8am

Remember to pick up dry cleaning in 3 days

She'll remind you 15 minutes ahead of time (or at 7am if you haven't specified a time).

Simple, huh?

Give it a whirl right now! Try asking Sandy to remind you about something — maybe to get back in touch with a friend or to thank someone for something nice they did? Email Sandy with:

Remind me to [thing to remind you about] in 1 minute
